Trim Video
Cut your video down to exactly the section you want by setting a start and end time.
How it works
- 1
Drop in a video — it stays on your device and is never uploaded.
- 2
Set the start and end times (leave either blank to keep from the beginning or to the end).
- 3
Trim the video and download the result.
Questions
Does my video get uploaded anywhere?
No. The entire operation runs inside your browser. Your file never leaves your device.
Which formats can I trim?
MP4 (H.264), WebM (VP8/VP9), and MOV files work in most browsers. Very unusual codecs may not be supported, and the tool will tell you rather than failing silently.
What time format should I use?
You can type seconds ("45"), minutes and seconds ("1:30"), or hours, minutes and seconds ("1:02:30"). Decimal seconds are also fine, for example "1:23.5".
Will re-encoding reduce quality?
Trim uses your browser's video encoder. Quality is preserved for the video and audio that remain in the clip. Very short trims may cause a small reduction in quality at the cut point.
