Questions
How are words counted?
Any run of characters separated by spaces or line breaks counts as one word, so hyphenated words and contractions count once.
How is reading time estimated?
Words divided by your reading speed (200 words per minute by default), rounded up to the next second.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. Counting happens in your browser. We never see what you type.
