Change Video Speed
Speed up or slow down a video clip by choosing a playback rate between 0.25× and 4×.
How it works
- 1
Drop in a video — it stays on your device and is never uploaded.
- 2
Pick a playback speed. The estimated output duration is shown before you run.
- 3
Change the speed and download the result.
Questions
Does my video get uploaded anywhere?
No. All processing runs inside your browser. Nothing leaves your device.
Does changing speed affect audio pitch?
Yes — speeding up raises the pitch and slowing down lowers it, like a traditional tape speed change. This tool does not apply pitch correction.
Which formats are supported?
MP4 (H.264) and WebM (VP8/VP9) work in most modern browsers. Less common codecs may not be supported, and the tool will say so.
Why does the output duration differ slightly from the estimate?
The estimate is based on the file's reported duration. The actual encoded output may differ by a frame or two due to codec rounding.

Spin a video 90°, 180°, or 270° — uses lossless metadata when the container supports it.
Flip Video
Mirror a video horizontally or vertically to correct its orientation or create a reflection effect.
Video to GIF
Turn a section of any video into an animated GIF, with control over frame rate, output size and colour depth.
GIF to MP4
Convert an animated GIF to an MP4 video — usually far smaller than the source GIF and compatible everywhere.
