View Image Metadata
Show an image's dimensions, file size, format, and the camera settings recorded when the photo was taken — all in one clean table.
How it works
- 1
Drop any image onto the upload area and click View metadata.
- 2
The tool decodes the image to read its true dimensions and parses the embedded EXIF block for camera settings.
- 3
Missing fields appear as "Not set" — they were simply not recorded when the image was created or saved.
Questions
What does "Not set" mean?
The EXIF specification makes every field optional. Screenshots, images exported from editing apps, and files that have been stripped of metadata will often show "Not set" for most camera fields.
Which image formats contain EXIF data?
EXIF is most common in JPEG and TIFF files produced by cameras. PNG, WebP and AVIF can carry metadata but many tools strip it on export. GIF and BMP carry no EXIF at all.
Can I see GPS coordinates here?
This tool shows the common camera fields. Use the EXIF Reader tool if you want the full set of tags including GPS coordinates, XMP properties, and every other EXIF field.
Is my image uploaded anywhere?
No. The image is read entirely in your browser. Nothing leaves your device.

Rasterize an SVG file to PNG, JPEG or WebP at a scale factor you choose. The result is a pixel image — not editable vector paths.
