ICO Converter

Build a multi-size .ico file from a PNG or JPG, choosing which pixel sizes to include — ideal for application icons and browser favicons.

How it works

  1. 1

Drop a PNG or JPG onto the upload area. Transparent PNGs work well — pick an image that looks clear at small sizes.

  2. 2

Toggle the pixel sizes you want included. 16, 32 and 48 px cover most use cases; add 256 px for high-DPI Windows icons.

  3. 3

Click Build ICO to download a single .ico file containing every selected size.

Questions

Which sizes should I include?

16 px is used in taskbars and browser tabs. 32 px is the standard desktop icon size. 48 px appears in Windows large-icon view. 256 px is used by modern Windows and high-DPI displays. Including 16, 32 and 48 covers most practical cases.

Will my image be sent to a server?

No. The ICO container is assembled entirely inside your browser. Your image never leaves your device.

What is the ICO format?

An ICO file is a container that holds multiple images at different sizes inside one file. Windows and browsers pick the most suitable size at display time. Each frame in this tool is a PNG stored inside the container.

What formats can I use as input?

PNG or JPG. PNG is preferred because it supports transparency, which matters for icons placed on coloured backgrounds. JPEG input works but any transparent areas become white.

Favicon Generator

Favicon Generator

Generate a full favicon set from one image: a three-size ICO, an Apple touch icon, PWA icons, a webmanifest, and the HTML.

SVG Converter

SVG Converter

Rasterize an SVG file to PNG, JPEG or WebP at a scale factor you choose. The result is a pixel image — not editable vector paths.

SVG to JPG

SVG to JPG

Convert an SVG to a JPEG image at the export scale you set, composited onto a solid background colour — because JPEG has no transparency.

Rotate Hue

Rotate Hue

Shift every colour in an image around the hue wheel to change the overall colour cast.

Adjust Exposure

Adjust Exposure

Simulate camera exposure stops to brighten or darken an image multiplicatively, the way a lens does.
