SVG to JPG
Convert an SVG to a JPEG image at the export scale you set, composited onto a solid background colour — because JPEG has no transparency.
How it works
- 1
Drop an SVG file onto the upload area. The tool reads its natural dimensions automatically.
- 2
Set the export scale to control how large the output is, adjust JPEG quality, and pick a background colour to fill any transparent areas.
- 3
Click Convert to JPG — the result is a raster JPEG image, not editable vector paths.
Questions
Is the output still a vector file?
No. The output is a raster (pixel) JPEG image — a snapshot of the SVG at the chosen scale. It cannot be edited as vector paths. Keep the original SVG if you need the editable file.
Why is a background colour required?
JPEG does not support transparency. Any transparent or semi-transparent area in the SVG must be filled with a solid colour before encoding. White is the default, matching a typical web page or print background.
What does the export scale do?
The scale multiplies the SVG's natural size. A value of 2 produces a JPEG twice as wide and tall. Use a higher value when you need a large raster, such as for printing or retina displays.
Will my file be sent to a server?
No. The SVG is rendered and converted entirely inside your browser. Your file never leaves your device.
My SVG looks different in the output. Why?
Some SVG features — external fonts, cross-origin images, and certain filter effects — may render differently through the browser's canvas path. Make the SVG self-contained (inline fonts, no external references) for the most consistent results.
