Resize Image

Change an image's width and height, with the aspect ratio locked unless you unlock it.

How it works

  1. 1

Drop an image onto the upload area, then enter a target width, height, or a percentage. Leave the other fields at zero and the aspect ratio is preserved automatically.

  2. 2

Use the fit mode selector when you provide both dimensions without the aspect lock: Stretch distorts to fill, Contain fits inside with padding, and Cover fills the box by cropping the edges.

  3. 3

Choose an output format and click Resize — the result downloads immediately. Your image never leaves your browser.

Questions

How does the aspect ratio lock work?

When the lock is on, only one dimension drives the resize. Enter a width and the height is computed from the original ratio; enter a height and the width follows. If you fill both fields, width takes priority.

What does 'Never enlarge' do?

With this option on, the tool will never produce an image larger than the original even if you request a bigger size. The output is capped at the source dimensions.

What is the difference between Contain and Cover?

Both preserve the aspect ratio when you supply two dimensions. Contain scales the image to fit inside the box, leaving transparent or empty margins. Cover scales to fill the box completely, cropping whatever overflows the edges.

Will my image be uploaded to a server?

No. All resizing happens directly in your browser. Your image never leaves your device.

Which format should I choose?

PNG is lossless and preserves transparency. JPEG produces the smallest files for photographs but has no alpha channel and introduces compression artefacts at low quality. WebP combines good compression with alpha support and works in all modern browsers.

ICO Converter

Build a multi-size .ico file from a PNG or JPG, choosing which pixel sizes to include — ideal for application icons and browser favicons.

Favicon Generator

Generate a full favicon set from one image: a three-size ICO, an Apple touch icon, PWA icons, a webmanifest, and the HTML.

Rasterize an SVG file to PNG, JPEG or WebP at a scale factor you choose. The result is a pixel image — not editable vector paths.

SVG to JPG

SVG to JPG

Convert an SVG to a JPEG image at the export scale you set, composited onto a solid background colour — because JPEG has no transparency.

Adjust Brightness

Lighten or darken an image by shifting every pixel's brightness up or down with a single slider.

Adjust Contrast

Adjust Saturation

Boost or reduce the intensity of colours in an image, all the way from vivid to greyscale.

Rotate Hue

Rotate Hue

Shift every colour in an image around the hue wheel to change the overall colour cast.
