Extract GIF Frames

Save every frame of an animated GIF as a separate PNG image and download them all in one zip.

How it works

  1. 1

Upload the animated GIF whose frames you want to save as individual images.

  2. 2

Choose PNG for lossless quality (and transparency support) or JPEG for smaller file sizes.

  3. 3

Click Extract Frames and download the zip archive containing one image file per frame.

Questions

Are partial or transparent GIF frames handled correctly?

Yes. Animated GIFs often store only the pixels that changed between frames. Each frame is fully composed against the accumulated canvas — including transparency and disposal methods — before being saved, so every exported image shows the complete picture at that moment.

Which format should I choose?

Choose PNG when you need lossless quality, or when frames contain transparent areas. Choose JPEG for smaller files when transparency is not required, for example when the GIF has a solid background.

How are the files named?

Each file is named after the original GIF with a zero-padded frame number appended, for example animation-frame-0001.png. This keeps them in order when sorted alphabetically.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The GIF is decoded entirely in your browser and your files never leave your device.

ICO Converter

ICO Converter

Build a multi-size .ico file from a PNG or JPG, choosing which pixel sizes to include — ideal for application icons and browser favicons.

Favicon Generator

Favicon Generator

Generate a full favicon set from one image: a three-size ICO, an Apple touch icon, PWA icons, a webmanifest, and the HTML.

SVG Converter

SVG Converter

Rasterize an SVG file to PNG, JPEG or WebP at a scale factor you choose. The result is a pixel image — not editable vector paths.

SVG to JPG

SVG to JPG

Convert an SVG to a JPEG image at the export scale you set, composited onto a solid background colour — because JPEG has no transparency.

Adjust Brightness

Adjust Brightness

Lighten or darken an image by shifting every pixel's brightness up or down with a single slider.

Adjust Contrast

Increase or reduce the difference between light and dark areas to make an image pop or flatten it.

Adjust Saturation

Boost or reduce the intensity of colours in an image, all the way from vivid to greyscale.

Rotate Hue
