EXIF Reader
Inspect every EXIF, XMP, and GPS tag stored inside an image file, grouped by segment, with a privacy warning when location coordinates are found.
How it works
- 1
Drop any image onto the upload area and click Read EXIF.
- 2
Every EXIF, XMP, and GPS tag is extracted and grouped by segment — IFD0, Exif IFD, GPS, XMP, and more.
- 3
If GPS coordinates are found, a privacy notice shows the exact decimal coordinates so you know what is embedded.
Questions
What is the difference between EXIF Reader and View Image Metadata?
View Image Metadata shows the common camera fields in a short summary table. EXIF Reader shows every tag the file contains — including raw GPS data, XMP properties, and obscure camera-specific fields — grouped by segment.
Why is there a privacy warning for GPS?
Cameras and smartphones often embed the precise GPS coordinates of where a photo was taken. Sharing an unstripped photo lets anyone extract that location. The warning makes the risk visible so you can decide whether to strip it first.
What does "Not set" mean next to a tag?
A tag is present in the file but its value is empty, binary data that cannot be displayed as text, or a blank string. This is distinct from a tag being absent entirely.
Is my image uploaded anywhere?
No. All parsing happens in your browser using the exifr library. Your image bytes never leave your device.

ICO Converter
Build a multi-size .ico file from a PNG or JPG, choosing which pixel sizes to include — ideal for application icons and browser favicons.
Favicon Generator
Generate a full favicon set from one image: a three-size ICO, an Apple touch icon, PWA icons, a webmanifest, and the HTML.
SVG Converter
Rasterize an SVG file to PNG, JPEG or WebP at a scale factor you choose. The result is a pixel image — not editable vector paths.
SVG to JPG
Convert an SVG to a JPEG image at the export scale you set, composited onto a solid background colour — because JPEG has no transparency.
Adjust Brightness
Lighten or darken an image by shifting every pixel's brightness up or down with a single slider.
Adjust Contrast
Increase or reduce the difference between light and dark areas to make an image pop or flatten it.
Adjust Saturation
Boost or reduce the intensity of colours in an image, all the way from vivid to greyscale.
Rotate Hue
Shift every colour in an image around the hue wheel to change the overall colour cast.
