Add Border to Image
Frame your image with a solid-colour border at any pixel width and colour you choose.
How it works
- 1
Drop your image and set the border width in pixels and the border colour using the colour picker.
- 2
The output canvas grows by exactly twice the border width on each axis — the source image stays at its original size inside the frame.
- 3
Click Add border to download the framed image as a PNG.
Questions
Does the image get cropped?
No. The canvas expands to fit the border around the image, so nothing is cropped. The output is larger than the source by exactly twice the border width on both sides.
Can I add a dashed or dotted border?
Only solid borders are supported in the current version. Patterned borders (dashed, dotted, double) may be added in a future update.
Does my image leave my device?
No. All processing runs entirely in your browser. The image is never sent anywhere.
