WebP to PDF
Convert WebP images to a PDF by decoding each one in your browser before embedding.
How it works
- 1
Drop your WebP images onto the upload area and arrange them in the order you want them to appear.
- 2
Choose a page size, margin, and fit mode for how each image fills its page.
- 3
Click Build PDF — the browser decodes each WebP to PNG and assembles the document without any upload.
Questions
Why does the tool convert WebP to PNG first?
The PDF format does not support WebP as a native image type. The browser decodes each file into a PNG in memory, which is then embedded into the PDF. Your original WebP files are untouched.
Will quality be lost during the conversion?
The intermediate PNG is lossless, so there is no compression artefact introduced in the WebP → PNG step. The PDF itself stores the image losslessly.
Are transparent WebP images handled?
Yes. Transparency is preserved in the PNG conversion step; the PDF canvas behind the image is white, so transparent areas appear white in viewers.
Does this tool send my files to a server?
No. The WebP decoding, PNG conversion, and PDF assembly all run inside your browser. Your images never leave your device.
