Split PDF
Divide a PDF into separate files by single page, fixed chunk size, or your own page ranges.
How it works
- 1
Drop your PDF and choose a split mode: every page, fixed-size chunks, or your own custom ranges.
- 2
For fixed-size chunks, set how many pages go in each part. For custom ranges, enter ranges separated by semicolons.
- 3
Click Split — your browser creates the individual PDFs and offers them all for download.
Questions
How do I write custom ranges?
Type one range per output PDF, separated by semicolons. Each range can be a single page (5), a span (1-3), or an open-ended span (7-). For example: 1-3; 5; 7- gives you three separate PDFs.
What happens with the last chunk in fixed-size mode if pages don't divide evenly?
The final chunk holds whatever pages remain, which may be fewer than the chunk size. For example, splitting 7 pages in chunks of 3 gives chunks of 3, 3, and 1.
Are my files sent to a server?
No. The PDF is read and split entirely in your browser. Your file never leaves your device.
