SVG to PDF
Rasterize SVG files at a chosen scale and embed them as high-resolution pages in a PDF.
How it works
- 1
Drop one or more SVG files onto the upload area and set the export scale — higher values give sharper output at the cost of file size.
- 2
Pick a page size and how the rasterized image should fill the page, then adjust the margin as needed.
- 3
Click Build PDF — each SVG is rendered to a high-resolution PNG in your browser and embedded as a PDF page.
Questions
Will the text and shapes in my SVG remain as vectors in the PDF?
No. This tool rasterizes each SVG to a PNG image before embedding it. The result is a high-resolution bitmap, not a vector PDF. If you need selectable text or scalable vector paths in the output, you will need a dedicated vector-to-PDF tool.
What export scale should I use?
2× is a good default — it doubles the pixel dimensions of the SVG's declared size, which usually looks sharp on screen and in print. Use 3× or 4× if you are printing large formats and want extra detail, keeping in mind the file will be bigger.
My SVG has no width or height attributes — will it work?
Some SVGs omit those attributes and rely on a viewBox instead. Browsers handle this differently; if the tool reports zero dimensions, open the SVG in a text editor and add explicit width and height values.
Are my SVG files sent anywhere?
No. The rasterization runs inside your browser using its built-in canvas engine. Nothing is uploaded and your files stay on your device.
