Questions
Does the file leave my device?
No. The Markdown is parsed and laid out entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
Which Markdown elements are supported?
Headings (h1–h6), paragraphs, unordered and ordered lists (including nesting), fenced code blocks, and blockquotes. Bold and italic text is rendered as plain text with inline formatting preserved in the block.
What happens to images and raw HTML in the Markdown?
Images and raw HTML blocks are intentionally skipped. PDF generation uses standard fonts and block layout — bitmap images and web-specific HTML are not reproduced. The text around them is converted normally.
Why does the code font look different from other text?
Code blocks and inline code are always rendered in Courier, a fixed-width font, so code retains its visual structure in the output PDF.
Are tables converted?
Markdown tables are not currently converted to PDF. The rows appear as plain text. Use a heading and list structure for tabular data if formatting matters.
