Questions
How does the tool decide two lines are the same?
By default it compares lines exactly, character by character. Turn on "Ignore case" and lines that differ only in capitalisation — like "Hello" and "hello" — are treated as duplicates.
Which occurrence is kept when there are duplicates?
The first occurrence in the original order is always kept; all later copies are removed.
How many duplicates were removed?
The count of removed lines is shown above the result each time you run the tool.
Is my text sent to a server?
No. Deduplication runs entirely in your browser. Your text never leaves your device.
