HTML Decoder
Convert HTML entities — named, decimal, and hex — back to the characters they represent.
How it works
- 1
Paste HTML containing entities — &, A, A, and more — and see the decoded text right away.
- 2
Named entities like © and ™, decimal entities like ©, and hex entities like © are all handled.
- 3
The conversion runs entirely in your browser; your content never leaves your device.
Questions
Which named entities does this tool recognise?
The most commonly used ones: &, <, >, ", ', , ©, ®, ™, €, £, ¥, ¢, —, –, …, and smart quote pairs. Unrecognised named entities are left unchanged.
What about numeric entities?
Both decimal (A) and hexadecimal (A) numeric entities are decoded. They cover every Unicode code point, so even obscure characters come through correctly.
Is my text sent anywhere?
No. Decoding happens locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded or logged.
