SVG to PNG
Rasterize an SVG file to a PNG image at any export scale or an exact pixel size you specify.
How it works
- 1
Drop an SVG file onto the upload area. The tool reads its natural dimensions from the file automatically.
- 2
Set an export scale to enlarge or shrink the output — or enter an exact width and height in pixels to override the scale entirely.
- 3
Click Convert to PNG and the raster image downloads to your device. The result is a pixel image, not editable vector paths.
Questions
Is the output still editable vector art?
No. Converting to PNG produces a raster (pixel) image — a fixed snapshot at the chosen size. To keep the file as vectors, use the original SVG.
What do the width and height overrides do?
When you enter a width or height, that exact pixel size is used instead of the scale slider. If you fill in only one of the two, the other is calculated automatically to keep the original proportions. Filling both lets you set any size regardless of aspect ratio.
Why does the output look different from the original SVG?
Some SVG features — external fonts, cross-origin images, and certain filter effects — may not render correctly when the browser rasterizes the file. For best results make sure the SVG is fully self-contained.
Does the PNG keep transparency?
Yes. PNG supports an alpha channel, so transparent areas in the SVG remain transparent in the output.
Is my file uploaded to a server?
No. Rasterization happens entirely inside your browser using the platform's built-in renderer. Your SVG never leaves your device.
