URL Parser
Break a URL into its protocol, host, port, path, query parameters, and fragment in a clear table.
How it works
- 1
Paste any URL into the input field.
- 2
The tool uses the browser's built-in URL parser to split it into its parts.
- 3
Query parameters are decoded and listed separately so each key-value pair is easy to read.
Questions
Which URL formats are supported?
Any URL with a scheme such as https://, http://, or ftp:// works. Relative URLs without a scheme are not supported because the protocol is required to resolve the host.
Are percent-encoded characters decoded?
Yes. Query parameter values like %20 are decoded to their original characters in the query parameters table.
Is anything sent to a server?
No. Parsing runs entirely in your browser using the standard URL API. The URL you enter never leaves the page.
