Timestamp Converter
Convert any Unix timestamp or ISO date into multiple formats: seconds, milliseconds, UTC, local, and relative.
How it works
- 1
Enter a Unix timestamp in seconds or milliseconds, or an ISO 8601 date string.
- 2
The tool detects whether the number is seconds or milliseconds automatically.
- 3
All output formats — ISO, UTC, local, and relative — appear at once.
Questions
How does the tool tell seconds from milliseconds?
Numbers below 10 billion are treated as Unix seconds (which won't reach that value until year 2286). Larger numbers are treated as milliseconds.
What date string formats are accepted?
Any format the browser's Date constructor understands, including ISO 8601 strings like 2024-06-15 or 2024-06-15T12:00:00Z.
What does the relative field show?
How far the date is from right now — for example '3d ago' or 'in 2h'. It uses your device's clock.
Is anything sent to a server?
No. All conversions happen in your browser. Your timestamps never leave the page.
