Query String Parser
Parse a URL query string into key-value pairs, handling repeated keys and percent-encoding.
How it works
- 1
Paste a query string — with or without the leading question mark.
- 2
The tool decodes all key-value pairs including repeated keys and percent-encoded characters.
- 3
Each parameter appears in its own row for easy reading and copying.
Questions
Do I need to include the leading '?'?
Either way works. The tool strips the question mark automatically if it is present.
What happens with repeated keys?
Repeated keys such as tag=a&tag=b each appear as a separate row, so none of the values are lost.
Does the tool decode percent-encoded values?
Yes. %20 becomes a space, %2B becomes a plus sign, and so on, matching what a browser would do.
Is my query string processed on a server?
No. Everything runs in your browser with the standard URLSearchParams API. Nothing leaves the page.
