HTML Beautifier
Turn compressed or hand-written HTML into neatly indented, readable markup in one step.
How it works
- 1
Paste your compressed or hand-written HTML into the input area.
- 2
Pick an indent size — 2 or 4 spaces are the most common choices.
- 3
The readable output appears instantly. Copy or download it, all on your device.
Questions
How is this different from the HTML Formatter?
Both tools apply the same indentation pass. The beautifier is aimed at making minified code readable; the formatter is aimed at standardising code that is already written by hand.
Will it repair broken tags?
No. The tool only adds whitespace and indentation — it does not parse or correct invalid HTML.
Does any code leave my device?
No. Beautification runs entirely in your browser. Your code is never sent anywhere.
