CSV Viewer
Open a CSV file and explore it as a sortable table, entirely in your browser.
How it works
- 1
Drop a CSV file onto the upload area and click View table.
- 2
Click any column header to sort all rows by that column; click again to reverse the order.
- 3
If your file has more than 500 rows, only the first 500 are shown — the rest can be seen in a spreadsheet.
Questions
Can I sort by multiple columns at once?
Not at the moment — clicking a header sorts by that column only. Use a spreadsheet app for multi-column sorting.
Why does the table stop at 500 rows?
Rendering thousands of rows at once can slow down the browser. Five hundred rows covers most inspection needs; open the file in a spreadsheet for full access.
Can I view TSV or pipe-delimited files?
Yes. Use the delimiter selector to pick the right separator, or leave it on Auto-detect and the tool will figure it out.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is read directly in your browser. Nothing leaves your device.
