Questions
What does this minifier remove?
Block comments, extra spaces and newlines, spaces around colons, semicolons, braces, and commas, and the trailing semicolon before each closing brace.
Are string values kept intact?
Yes. Content inside single or double quotes is protected before any processing, so strings like `content: "}"` are never broken.
Is this tool processing my CSS on a server?
No. Minification runs entirely in your browser; your code never leaves your device.
Will the minified CSS still work in all browsers?
The output is functionally identical to the input. The minifier only removes whitespace and comments, never changes property names or values.
